Position Summary:The Research Associate will be joining a growing team as one of the core members. Will assist to make critical measurements used to evaluate fermentations and high throughput processes under development.Entry Level Role - Looking for candidates with Analytical Chemistry backgrounds who have experience working with HPLCs and Sample Preparations.Requirements:BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and 0-3 years industry experience.Experience with HPLC setup and runtime.Experience with Sample preparation.University analytical chemistry lab experience or coming from either an analytical lab, biotech lab or manufacturing environment. Essential Functions:Preparing biological fermentation samples both volumetrically and gravimetrically.Preparing HPLC mobile phases and sample diluents.Managing parallel workflows that have been automated to varying degrees.QC and deliver large datasets using statistical software and LIMS.Interacting with internal customers who rely on high data quality and quick turnaround time.Working in a high throughput environment analyzing thousands of samples per weekSample PreparationManual dilutions/extractions - both volumetric and gravimetricAcidificationCentrifugationFiltrationSample storageOperation of liquid handling roboticsHPLC Setup and RuntimeMaking mobile phases and diluentsPreparing HPLCs for runtimeRegular preventative maintenance of instrumentsData AnalysisUsing data tools to generate HPLC sequencesUpload data into LIMSAnalyze data using chromatographic software Compensation: $55k-$65k annually BOE Please **** or apply below About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
