Engineering effort includes work on current and new system software within the MWS business using skills in one or more software languages such as: C, C , Java, Python, Fortran, R, Visual Basic, and others. These systems employ software, electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, chemical, and other technologies to create some of the most complex and leading-edge technological systems in the world. Duties could include supporting software algorithm development, architecture, design, coding, analysis, testing/verification, data collection, and requirements management. Basic (Required) Qualifications: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance post start A Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering prior to start Desired Qualifications: Experience in real time software development or test Knowledge and experience with software design, analyses and software test and verification are preferred. Typical Education/Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. No relocation assistance is being offered for this position and it is a non-negotiable benefit.
