Mid-Level Systems Engineer

Boeing Space and Launch, Ground Design & Mission Support is searching for a Mid-Level Systems Engineer (Level 3)
. In this role you will use systems skills to become very knowledgeable in how the space systems operate, providing a very challenging and rewarding position understanding the total end to end Mission. This position is located at Seal Beach, California.
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Ground and System Integration & Test
Develop detailed test procedures and conduct verification tests
Develop Ground Segment Operational Products in support of Space based systems
Support ConOps development and product design, development, and test
Support complex system level threads required to run missions in space

This position requires an active/current U.S. Security Clearance with successful completion of a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic (Required) Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline is required.
Preferred (Desired) Qualifications
Experience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teams.
Experience with Systems Integration & Test
Experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test.
Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Tcl/Tk, Python).
Experience with software development.
Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes.
Experience with Agile processes and tools
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification:
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's with 3 or more years' experience or PhD with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
