These methods will support the characterization of disease models and pharmacodynamic properties of novel drug candidates, ultimately aiding MyoKardia in delivering new therapies for the treatment of rare/serious cardiovascular disease. This position will be a lab-focused role with the opportunity to collaborate across multiple disciplines within research.

  • Present data and findings to cross-functional teams.

  • Currently obtaining BS/MS/PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biological/chemical engineering, or related field.
  • For applicants currently obtaining BS degree, at least three years of completed coursework is preferred.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting and basic laboratory skills (e.g. pipetting, reagent preparation, etc.) preferred.

  • Experience performing immunoassays (e.g. ELISA, MSD, etc.) to detect and quantify proteins.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize protocols and develop new assays.
  • Knowledge of protein isolation/concentration techniques (e.g. immunoprecipitation).
  • Experience working on and communicating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
