Profile

Job Responsibilities-

Provide process technical support to the plant in solving day-to-day problems

Conduct continuous improvement projects in quality, productivity, and cost by using scientific and statistical methods

Help implement standardized manufacturing practices (One Certification), optimization and development of manufacturing processes in addition to implementing equipment management best practices

Assist with commissioning new equipment, tests carried out by the unit and support investment projects (CAPEX)

Support the team in preventative and predictive maintenance work

Deliver on the units technical innovation and operational objectives

Operational Excellence Accountabilities

Help with commissioning new equipment

Assist with tests carried out by the unit and support investment projects

Support and encourage processes and tools that drive a continuous improvement culture

Recommend and/or implement solutions to improve their units manufacturing efficiency

Establish technical support and develop relationships with business partners

Maximize synergy and foster collaboration among groups, units and business units

Health and Safety

Foster the development of a healthy and safe working environment

Act in compliance with all safety protocols and standards

Promote occupational health and safety management best practices

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Paper Science, or similar field preferred

Desired Experience

Previous experience in similar industry or manufacturing process environment

Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and time management skills

Demonstrates an innovation focused mind set

Lean or Six Sigma certification or lean manufacturing exposure

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Continuous improvement oriented, efficient under pressure, able to function autonomously

Recognized experience as a proven leader in health and safety responsibilities

Proficient computer skills (MS Office, SAP, AS400, MES)
