,AnswerValue:Tokyo Electron America, Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Limited, a global, multi-billion dollar corporation and a leader in the semiconductor equipment industry, is currently seeking a Research Scientist to join our SURFACE PREPARATION SYSTEMS Advanced Technology Group (ATG) focused on simulation and prototype design located in Austin, Texas.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:u003cbr/u003e• Modeling transport phenomena (fluid dynamics, heat transfer, diffusion/reaction) in the liquid and gas phases and on semiconductor surfaces.u003cbr/u003e• Build computational fluid dynamic models to better understand and optimize vapor and liquid etch processes.u003cbr/u003e• Building fluid dynamic models into simulation software to optimize tool design.u003cbr/u003e• Participating in system engineering specification development, system documentation and implementation of system prototypes.u003cbr/u003e• Interfacing with development team to define project strategy and deliverables. u003cbr/u003e• Fully documenting work in order to provide colleagues with enough detail to maintain engineering simulations and/or code.u003cbr/u003e• Strong emphasis is placed on candidates that can find solutions to difficult problems through structured project management while working in a team environment.u003cbr/u003e• Good communications skills are considered critical.
