Communicates with colleagues, students, and/or parents as needed regarding the academics, physical, and social developments of students. (2,3,8,9)
Plans and supervises purposeful assignments for teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s).
Fulfills non-instructional duties during the day and after school as assigned by the Lead Person and/or designee.
Related Professional Responsibilities: Teacher: Strives to implements Board policies administrative regulations and directives either written or oral.
Strive to maintain and improve professional knowledge and practice by such means as organization membership, participation in professional in-service, and continued academic preparation. (1,10)
Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
Terms of Employment: Teacher: Ten month year. Salary and work year are determined in accordance with the current teacher contract. Sick/Personal Leave: Teacher: Sick: All full-time 10-month employees shall be entitled to 10 days of sick leave per year. Any sick leave that is not used in one school year shall be carried over to the next school year. Sick leave has no cash value upon termination or resignation of employment. Personal: All full-time 10-month employees shall be entitled to 4 days of personal leave per year. Any personal leave that is not used in one school year shall not be carried over to the next school year. Personal leave has no cash value upon termination or resignation of employment if one full school year has not been completed. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $51,635.00 to $72,635.00 /year License: NJ Teaching Certificate (Required)
