Job DescriptionnnOur Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.nnBiologics and Vaccines Analytics (BVA), our Manufacturing Division is responsible for the commercialization of large molecule (vaccines, biologics) analytical techniques from Phase III through launch and transfer to supply as well as in-line analytical support to enable world-wide robust vaccine and biologics availability. This team is highly motivated, fast-paced and focused on the rapid advancement of our Company's large molecule pipeline, plus growth of existing products.nnAs a member of Biologics and Vaccines Analytics (BVA), you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) supporting vaccines and biologics products within our Company. The selected individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Research and Development Division Bioprocess and Vaccine Development, Manufacturing Systems Design and Commercialization, and site manufacturing groups to make significant contributions towards our Company's vaccines and biologics development and manufacturing efforts.nnThe scope of the contributions includes development and implementation of advanced real-time technologies to support development of new products as well as methods for process control applications in manufacturing to ultimately help meet our Company's World Class Supply objectives of highest quality, lowest cost, and shortest lead time.nSome specific responsibilities include:nnLead the development and implementation of advanced in-line, on-line, and at-line PAT methods in upstream cell culture/fermentation, purification, and drug product operations.nTechnologies include, but are not limited to: On-line UPLC, Raman, Mass spectrometry, Fluorescence, FBRM, and Near-Infrared spectroscopic techniques.nConduct and manage the method development, validation, filing, and technology transfer of PAT applications from development to pilot scale/commercialization or manufacturing.nLead contributions to regulatory filings regarding PAT.nnnEducation Minimum Requirement: nnB.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline with 5 years of relevant industry experience;nM.S. or Higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology Bio-engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline with 3 years of relevant industry experience;nPh.
