Provide support for the full life cycle of the companies projects across multiple systems used in manufacturing and refining of chemicals.
Work alongside engineers, operations members and maintenance support staff to ensure effective safety and environmental practices as well as risk management processes are observed and executed.
You will provide technical and regulatory assistance within the discipline.
You will performing statewide safety, health and environmental program audits of divisions and units to ensure that program objectives are being accomplished as needed.
Producing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports and design calculations
The Successful Applicant
BS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related subject
2-6+ years experience in relevant industry
Chemical experience is a plus
Direct Process Hazard Analysis Experience including What If Analysis & HAZOP
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate at technical and non-technical levels.
Ability to work independently, manages multiple priorities, and follows through on projects.
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply directives, laws, rules and regulations from local, state and federal agencies
Knowledge of management sciences, risk management, loss control, health sciences, and industrial hygiene.
