.A Systems Architect job opportunity in Pinellas Park, FL is available through Modis. This is a long term contract role. The candidate will demonstrate leadership by developing and communicating systems architectures and setting technical direction for Advanced Technology teams responsible for implementation. ISystems Architect Job Responsbilities: • Develop and investigate new aircraft system architectures and concepts • Interface with customers, partner companies, suppliers, and other senior leadership within the company • Participate in technical reviews of systems across the business • Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as subsystem avionics product groups and third party suppliers • Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university • Minimum 5 years of technical and/or project leadership experience in Military Avionics Systems or related Product design and development • Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft systems and sub-systems requirements definition, design, architecture, integration, verification, and qualification • Minimum 1 year of experience in dealing with customers and suppliers and interfacing with senior leadership within the company Desired Characteristics: • Prior experience in defining architectures and requirements for aircraft systems • Ability to guide and lead others not in a direct reporting relationship • Strong technical and project leadership experience in aircraft systems development • Experience in sub-system requirements definition for mission systems, displays / crew interface systems, navigation sensors and radios, datalink, autoflight systems, on-board maintenance systems, integrated surveillance systems, environmental / thermal control systems, propulsion systems and other aircraft systems • Experience with ARINC 661, ARINC 664 and ARINC 653 development standards • Experience with DO-178B, DO-254, DO-297, ARP-4754 certification standards • Experience using models and modeling tools to simulate and validate architectures and system designs • Familiarity with systems engineering processes including requirements definition, aircraft integration, flight testing, system safety, and requirements verification • Familiarity with model tools and processes to automate and streamline aircraft systems engineering • Experience in technical and project leadership for aircraft programs If you are interesed in this Systems Architect job in Pinellas Park, FL, please contact Sunetra Sen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
