Profile

 

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio offering primarily associate degrees with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students.  The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level beginning August 15, 2020. 

 

Teaching responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the year-long sequence in biochemistry, general chemistry for majors, and general, organic, and biochemistry for allied health students, all both lecture and lab.  All courses may be day or evening.  Responsibilities will also include participating in the governance and committee work of the Department, College, and University, and ongoing professional development in the discipline of chemistry and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning.

 

Minimum Qualifications

*A Ph.D. in biochemistry or related field prior to the effective date of the appointment and one academic year of college-level teaching experience in biochemistry or related field.
