Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services, and has an opportunity for a Sales Representative for its industry leading analytical instrumentation used in R&D laboratories. This position will be covering Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri and the ideal candidate will be located in the Kansas City area but other major cities in the lower Midwest region will be considered.
Responsibilities: The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of analytical instrumentation products (Rheometers) and services to customers in various industries like academia, food, beverage, plastics, oil & gas, etc.
Primary responsibilities include both the effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements: The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be cable of communicating equally well with Ph.D. level scientists and QC technicians.
MUST HAVE a B.S. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar technical field and experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation.
