Company Description Deibel Laboratories is a private food testing facility providing services in both Microbiology and Chemistry testing. Our location in Madison is looking to hire a full time Chemistry Technician for a Monday-Friday (8AM-4:30PM) shift with rotating weekends . Benefits included. Please note, the training for the shift will be Monday-Friday and once the technician is fully trained they will move into their assigned weekend rotation. Job Description Responsibilities- No Experience Needed, we will train you! - Reagent login, makeup, storage, and disposal -Chemistry Proximate testing which will include liquid-liquid extractions, dilutions, titrations, proper use of a balance - Assist in sample preparation, data analysis and paperwork for various instrumental methods used for Protein Leco, spectrometer and etc. -General laboratory maintenance and house keeping Qualifications - 0-1 Years Experience ( No experience needed, we will train you!) - Critical thinker with good math and organizational skills - Self motivated and hard working especially in a fast passed environment -Must be willing to learn Good Documentation Practices for maintaining laboratory notebook Preferred Qualifications: - Previous laboratory experience in nutritional testing is a plus: Protein, Salt, Fat, Fatty Acids, Peroxide Value, Non-protein Nitrogen, Titratable Acidity, pH, Moisture, Water Activity, Brix, Natamycin, Nitrite, Ash, and etc. (please include relevant classes and coursework on resume) Additional Information Our Deibel Labs Career Resources Team will email all interested candidates further instructions for this job application.
