Job Description: $43\/Hour 3 Month Contract Responsibilities \u2022Prepare compositional formulas and exposure tables for tox assessment oCollect, appropriately sort and format formula compositions for toxicological assessment oWork with regulatory affairs specialists to identify and resolve discrepancies oFormat exposure assessment tables based on exposure models from toxicologist \u2022Safety assessment support oConvert assessments into templates by product type oVerify accuracy of ingredient disclosures with those on-pack oCollaborate with marketing to input labels, current language and product information into assessments \u2022Documentation oUpdate and maintain toxicological assessment inventory oPrepare, refine and sort substance values, citing reference sources from toxicologist oIdentify and communicate discrepancies \u2022Support Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and ingredient disclosure oCollect and review raw material and formula data oLook up raw material information in SAP for formula compositions oReview and check formula data, communicate discrepancies and facilitate information gathering oWork with regulatory affairs specialist to finalize and publish documents oDocument and maintain retailer SDS and ingredient disclosures \u2022Project tracking and documentation oPrepare, sort and monitor documentation for raw materials and formulas oSupport data documentation oAssist in tracking status of project reviews Responsibility: Education \u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree; degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field, preferred Experience \u2022Solid understanding of chemical naming conventions \u2022General awareness of reg.\/safety role in consumer products companies \u2022Familiarity with handling confidential data \u2022Overall computer literacy \u2022Knowledge of the following software programs oSAP, specifically PLM oProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word and SharePoint with advanced knowledge and expertise in Excel Skills \u2022Works independently and monitors own work to ensure quality \u2022Detail oriented \u2022Self-motivated; will ask questions and seek clarity, when necessary \u2022Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with time constrains \u2022Strong problem solver and logical thinker \u2022Excellent reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills
