Recipharm is currently expanding its capabilities with the implementation of a new GMP Suite that will produce clinical trial material for non-sterile dosage forms. We are seeking a Scientist to join us in our Method Development department. As we perform contract services, the variation of assignments and technologies used is high, and you can expect a high paced and collaborative environment. Your key responsibilities will be: Performing physical and chemical testing of APIs and drug substance, in-process materials, and finished product Performing method development for such methods, utilizing HPLC and GC Documenting laboratory work carefully per SOPs and cGMP Analyzing data and writing reports, protocols, test methods, SOPs, and other documents Transfer methods for regular testing Maintaining a safe work environment Required Qualifications: B.S. degree in chemistry, biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields 2 years of relevant experience 3 years of HPLC experience A thorough understanding of HPLC and how it applies to method optimization and development for an analyte or analytes Able to propose a strategy for method development, suggesting appropriate separation technology and design of experiments Familiarity with phase appropriate validation and HPLC and GC method development, dependent on a product\u2019s development phase Strong oral and written communication skills for reporting experimental results Self-motivated, and well organized with excellent time management abilities Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with equipment such as HPLC-UV\/VIS, Karl Fischer, LC-MSD, and GC-FID Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel functions Creative thinking and problem-solving skills About Recipharm Recipharm is a leading CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation) in the pharmaceutical industry employing some 5,000 employees.
