For more information about Celanese and our products please visit ****Senior Manager Program Management will be part of the Specialty Applications team that is charged with growing Celanese Engineered Materials in new applications and market spaces. The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive, forward-looking mind-set and strong analytical skills to identify, evaluate and recommend pursuit of new growth areas. nn Identify key global industry trends outside in consumer and industrial end-markets that are developing 3-5 years in the future. Validate and develop perspective on growth potential for new and existing Celanese polymers based on the trend.n Develop deep understanding of the end markets impacted by the trend, drivers, market disruption, unmet material needs, size of the market, and profitability.n Develop business case for investment (new product development, M&A, capability, capacity) in growth area identified. Develop value proposition and pricing recommendations based on VOC, market and application knowledge.n Develop robust go-to-market strategy based on value chain and VOC understanding. Make recommendations to commercial on best path to approaching the market along with specific customer leads.n Build relationships with customers in evaluating trends that impact their material choices 3-5 years out. Partner with sales teams to understand customer technology development roadmaps and translate them into initiatives for Celaneseu2019su2019 technology roadmapnnEngage with R&D, Field Development Engineers, Product Specialists, Product Managers and Account Managers in the evaluation process and go-to-market strategy.nQualificationsnEducation and Experiencenn Minimum Required: Masteru2019s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering (or related subject)n Strongly Desired: 5u20137 years of experience in engineered polymers, business case development, strategy development, commercial skills, and application and market developmentnnKnowledge/Skillsnn Strong communications skills supported by research driven analyticsn Ability to build demand-supply and pricing models supported by market fundamentals and value pricingn
