Company is currently seeking Instrumentation Engineers to join our Flight Test team performing developmental and certification testing of commercial airplanes and military derivatives. The team operates primarily out of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Field in Seattle, Washington with some testing in Everett and Renton, as well as occasional testing at various domestic and international sites for up to 2-4 weeks at a time (sometimes longer).

Develop test instrumentation installations, detailed check-out procedures, calibration procedures and troubleshooting for a variety of aircraft test instrumentation
Support the installation of the test instrumentation during the airplane build from simple to complex measurement systems, assure correct installation, end to end hookup and proper functionality
Design and maintain entire system from transducer, wiring, signal conditioning, switches and the data acquisition and monitor system on board the test aircraft during the test program
Performs functional checks as required to ensure the test instrumentation system is ready to support daily flight tests
Prepare instrumentation for daily testing; verify calibrations and configurations of equipment and software formats
Troubleshoot and solve instrumentation anomalies or problems
Develop and document standardized processes and procedures to ensure repeatability and productivity
Fly aboard airplane on test flights to monitor and maintain operation of all required instrumentation
Position will require shift and weekend work when assigned to active test airplanes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Previous experience in a flight or lab test instrumentation role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree and 5 or more years' applicable experience in an instrumentation engineering position, or a Master's degree with 3 years applicable engineering experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
