Requisition ID: 13585\u00a0 Job Function: Product Development Engineering (40000045)\u00a0 Job Description Responsible and accountable to maintain OEE of Sealed Systems Equipment throughout the plant Responsible for developing and implementing quality control plans for the various equipment Optimize machine parameters to improve quality and delivery Work with Design Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers to Analyze field problems, root cause analysis, and develop & implement robust solutions Work hand in hand with other engineers to improve horizontal expansion of the various improvements Train supervisor, team leads, and operators in sealed system processes and equipment Responsible and accountable for delivering Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery Improvement targets Develop and implement sealed systems Develop and Implement Autonomous Maintenance , Preventative Maintenance and Focused Approach Projects within your technical areas. Approve or reject engineering changes Implement engineering changes on the floor Lead standard, major, advanced kaizens Learn and be a trainer on various WCM tools Develop and implement Capital and expense projects to reduce risk to the business. Work with various levels of the organization (Advanced Manufacturing, Central Manufacturing, New Product Launch, Engineering Platform) to implement new technologies at the plant. Requirements Hands-on knowledge and experience with sealed systems processes and equipment Hands-on knowledge of brazing technology, vacuum machines, and charge boards Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical \/ Chemical \/ Welding \/ Industrial) 2 years of experience with sealed systems Proven success with leading equipment \/ process improvement projects from inception to completion Preferred Requirements Masters degree in Engineering R600 integration experience Require a comprehensive knowledge of the use of advanced manufacturing techniques Thorough understanding of world class manufacturing tools \/ methods specifically professional maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and focused improvement Well developed communication, conflict management, coaching, interpersonal, and team building skills PMP certification RSRWH Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR) is the number one major appliance manufacturer in the world, with approximately $21 billion in annual sales, 97,000 employees and 70 manufacturing and technology research centers.
