To continue our solid growth, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated Technical Training Manager to join our growing organization.
The Technical Training Manager will develop, implement, and maintain training programs for customers of Simoa
technology. The individual will work with internal and external partners to create a scalable customer training program that will support expansion of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. instrument install base as the company enters a phase of rapid growth. Initially, the role will include the development of on-line training modules, instructional videos, and centralized training courses. As appropriate tools are developed, the Technical Training Manager will work with the Field Applications team, Tech Support team, and directly with customers to roll out new training programs. As the programs mature, the role will transition toward improving and maintaining customer facing instructional documentation, customer on-line forums and/or knowledge bases, and technical training for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. employees.
The Technical Training Manager will report to the Director of Field Applications. The individual will be expected to become proficient in the use of Simoa instruments, assay kits, and reagent preparation and to thoroughly understand customer applications of the platform technologies. Therefore, a background in biological sciences and laboratory experience is required.
Bachelors of Science (Masters Degree preferred) in biology, chemistry, or biochemistry
Excellent technical communication and writing skills
At least 2 years laboratory research experience in biochemistry or molecular biology,
Experience with immunoassays strongly preferred
At least 2 years teaching experience in an academic or customer training role including the development of curricula, presentations and materials
Creativity, team spirit, positive attitude, and strong work ethic are a must
Up to 20% travel expected
