OverviewnThe Principal Verification Engineer represents an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist in the Systems Design and Development department to lead technical aspects of new product system evaluation. n nThis is a highly visible technical leadership position in which the individual is required to have expertise in LC and/or LCMS applications and Separation Science. The candidate will work closely with Waters R&D organizations, especially engineering, development teams and Scientific Operations.nResponsibilitiesnn Lead technical team in the creation and execution of new product verification plans and testingn Plan and develop strategies to test new hardware designs using chromatographic based approachesn Coordinate with engineering department to test new designs and provide feedback based upon performance based testingn Drive new product and sustaining verification work completion to support corporate product roadmapn Participate in the review of key design input documents such as product requirementsn Communicate plans and status to senior management inside and outside the organizationn Seek opportunities to collaborate and expand the role of Systems Design and Development department across various functionsn Provide cross functional scientific leadership including, but not limited to, direct collaboration with product management, project management, engineering, development groups, scientific operations, and CXKMn Assemble, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chromatographic systemsn Mentoring junior staff members in regard to analytical techniques, data processing and interpretationn Manage group vSphere infrastructure and templates and provide vSphere support to the staffnnQualificationsnn PhD with 5-7 or M.Sc. with 10 years of experience in analytical chemistry, engineering or related scientific fieldn Strong understanding of LC, LC-MS and other analytical chemistry measurement techniquesn Strong skills in LC and/or LC/MS method development and troubleshootingn Knowledge of programing languages/data analysis packages such as Python, C , VBA, javascript, Matlab, solid works (desired)n Experience with statistical data analysis strongly desiredn Previous experience with Waters instrumentation and chromatographic data systems desiredn Must have strong communications skillsn Track record of working in and leading technical teamsnnCompany Descriptionn**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
