This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Level 3 Systems Engineer you will be responsible for leading other systems engineers within the team to support program execution. In this role you will work with the customer to understand user requirements, develop system level requirements and verification methods, perform trade studies and analysis, decompose system requirements to functional areas, coordinate activities across functional teams and ensure customer requirements have been met. Responsibilities Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluate customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Qualifications Basic Qualifications (required): This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Minimum two yearsu2019 experience in the development of requirements and requirement verification Preferred Skills (assets): Knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following: Dynamic Object Oriented Requirement Software (DOORS) Cyber security requirements and implementation Modified Airworthiness Criteria Checklist Network protocols (e.g. Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, RS-422 etc) Radar systems and subsystems Commercial and military Communication subsystem(s) and associated capability to include but not limited to: Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Very High Frequency (VHF) and Airborne Data links (e.g. Link-16) Typical Education /u00a0Experience: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
