We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to generate sales and total customer satisfaction; manage sales and technical service for customers and potential customers, and effectively present the advanced technologies that are available from Heraeus.
Your role and responsibilities:
Achieve budgeted sales revenue and agreed upon prices at responsible accounts. Plan marketing and sales strategy in order to meet and exceed budget.
Develop and own opportunity funnel for the territory. Develop, coordinate and implement the Account Plan, including tailored value proposition.
Actively support sales of US based products into Asia in close cooperation with local Heraeus sales teams.
Develop and drive a credible and productive long-term relation at various levels and disciplines, in order to maximizing the value (top- and bottom-line) of the short & long term business for Heraeus. Negotiate and/or generate agreement with each account, coordinate and drive sales, and Heraeus promotion.
Provide a monthly rolling forecast of the responsible accounts. Report of market intelligence, competitive intelligence, forecasts, account plans and sales funnel on an account level via CRM.
Constantly analyze the competitive landscape and prepare reports and analysis about competitors’ activities. Constantly evaluate market situation, industry trends, and competitive environment in relationship to the company’s strategy. Regularly update management on these items. Attend and participate in technical conferences, trade shows, and educational courses to remain current in the field as it relates to competitors as well as existing and future technologies.
Maintain close contact to key personnel at existing and potential new customers within the Americas as well as support sales in Asia. Communicates with customers face-to-face, by phone, and via email.
What is required for this role:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field, and 5 plus years of industry related experience in technical sales is required. Experience working within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
Must have strong customer service orientation and be a proactive and effective communicator.
Must have previous experience dealing with global customers, preferably in Asia.
Track record of successfully meeting deadlines through initiative and proactive approach required. Self-starter with an attention to detail is required.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism; exhibit a high level of project management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Must have access to an airport to meet travel needs. Travel includes both domestic and international.
