Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime Regional Sales Manager to work remotely. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Integrated Water Services
and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee. Territories include: Eastern & Southern US, and the Caribbean.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and goal driven, relationship builder, self-starter, good communicator, and highly organized. This candidate will also have a successful track record within the sales industry, preferably in an industrial setting. Over night travel may be required occasionally.
Job Description:
§ Expanding Sales to existing customer base as well as developing new customers.
§ Manages and directs sales and marketing activities to achieve sales and profit goals.
§ Participates in design strategies and recommends sales programs to set short- and long-term sales strategies.
§ Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume; recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Generate sales leads for the allocated territory and meet/exceed Sales Goals.
Promote Aquatech products and services in assigned territory and in particular our proprietary HERO Thermal evaporative and SWRO (LoWatt). On the job training is provided for these specific technologies.
Organize presentations to introduce new technologies / concepts adopted by Aquatech.
Update customers of any new technologies and systems introduced by the company.
Maintain extremely good relations with key and primary accounts in the allocated region.
Effectively manage, supervise and guide Aquatech manufacturer representatives in assigned territory and ensure the territory is well covered by the representatives.
Provide technical support to key clients in assigned territory including pre bid support, budget estimates. Firm proposals will be generated at Aquatech’s Headquarters in Canonsburg, PA.
Play a lead role in deciding the bidding strategy for firm proposals in conjunction with application engineering group based at Aquatech’s Headquarters in Canonsburg PA or Hartland, WI. Knowing client preferences and competitive information plays a key role in winning the project.
Ensure presentable and complete proposal is prepared prior to submittal.
Effectively and efficiently organize the turnover of orders to the projects department.
Ensure quality of the sale and timely closure of all technical and commercial issues associated with the sale.
Identify customers’ decision makers and influencers to engage for negotiation and closing the Purchase Order
Engage in resolving post contract technical and commercial issues with the customers as may be required from time-to-time by the project execution group, or in order to maintain long-term relationship with the customers.
Skill Requirements:
Ability to develop and sell solutions to customer water treatment problems.
Ability to meet sales goals and effectively manage and grow a sales territory.
A good team player with a strong desire to learn. Must be a self-starter and capable of working and planning independently. Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on sales goal metrics
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to foster new relationships with existing and potential customers.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn and grow in responsibility on the job.
Ability to meet and deliver excellent customer service
§ Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain positive attitude and good organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability in guiding direct reports to effectively accomplish performance goals.
§ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
§ Ability to use personal computer (MS Office Products) and internet at a high level of proficiency.
§ Attention to detail.

Physical Job Demands:

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Three (3) or more years of sales experience in water treatment parts and service
Detailed knowledge of the theory and operations of: clarifiers, various kinds of media filters, ion exchange processes, membrane processes (RO / UF / MF), EDI etc. is required. Candidates with experience in sales / service of heat exchangers, evaporators, crystallizers and zero liquid discharge technology will also be considered for this position.
Overnight travel will be required.
