Primary Responsibilities: Sample preparation and analysis following official methods and company\/laboratory SOPs, including manual and instrumental analysis such as titration, UV-Vis, FT-IR, ICP, AA, XRF, and other technologies. Specifically These Responsibilities Are To: Routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and trouble-shooting of some simple laboratory equipment and instruments. Under supervision, develop, write, review, and validate analytical methods, company and laboratory SOPs, and other operating, safety, and quality documents. Input all technical information in lab books, LIMS, and other electronic and physical data systems and ensure all information is up to date and maintained. Coordinate with laboratory assistants on sample receiving, logging, pretreatment, and preparation, as well as glassware cleaning, laboratory cleaning and organization. Conduct multiple laboratory tasks within tight deadlines. Other projects and tasks assigned by company and supervisors. Profile of the position (Requirements & Qualifications): Familiarity with Quality Management System ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Familiarity with government, industry and other regulations, standards, and methodologies including, but not limited to, RoHS, WEEE, ASTM, AOAC, AOCS, USP\/NF, FCC, CFR, Proposition 65, CONEG, and BS-EN. Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines, or equivalent education or experience in analytical chemistry laboratories. Able to learn and apply new technologies and instruments. Functional Competencies \/ Qualifications: Computer and math skills: Windows-based computer programs including MS Word, and Excel.
