DuPont: No More Waiting for China’s Approval on TiO2 Expansions
DuPont will not await approval from China before it moves to expand its titanium oxide production, as told by Ellen Kullman. She indicated in a statement that progress with China was simply moving too slowly, and it could not wait any further. This project regards the production of high-grade titanium dioxide (TiO2) as a basic material to many customers. By implementing this expansion in plants within Mexico and other parts of the world, DuPont hopes to ensure cost effectiveness of their product in the future.
